After spending 25 years in corporate America, running other people's businesses, my husband, Derick, and I decided to take the plunge and start our own transportation venture in 2019. Armed with a single semi truck and driver, we set out to make our mark.

Now, like many folks, we initially hired a consultant to guide us through this new chapter of our lives. But after about a year, I craved a deeper understanding of the transportation business. I wanted to grasp every aspect and become a true expert.
